Somatic Movement

This is a guided awareness class that helps you to sense your body in a clearer way and improve your methods of moving, breathing, and being. Inspired by Feldenkrais this practice is slow and methodical and works by revealing habitual patterns that may be restricting you and then finding new ways to prioritise enjoyable movements that take less effort and allow you to feel free again. It improves functional range of motion so you can start to reduce patterns of tension, pain, and strain, naturally correct your posture and breathing and learn more about the way you inhabit your body. Particularly good for neck, shoulder, and lower back pain. Suitable for adults - no experience necessary. Please wear clothing you can move easily in. 

This is the rate for a Zoom session for one and which can also be recorded for later use. If you wish to work together in person and with the assistance of facilitated touch which takes this work into a whole different dimension then please enquire.
